Renewable Energy Systems and Technology Services (RESTS)

RESTS, a renewable energy and environmental management consultancy firm was set up in 2001 to provide energy audits and environmental management services medium scale and commercial entities in the Nairobi. This is the partners organisation in the Banking on oil project. EPS program has partnered with RESTS to pilot the Oil collection and recycling project with a view of replicating it to other parts of Nairobi and Kenya in general.

Action Now Kenya (ANK)

Action Now Kenya (ANK) is an indigenous NGO that works with Street people, slum communities and other at risk groups to build their capacity in order to improve their livelihoods. ANK's work focuses on improving outcomes in three focus areas namely Health Education and Enterprise development.

ANK reaches out to and works with communities and especially women living within the streets and slums of urban centres in Kenya. ANK currenmtly works with various slum women including those from Kibera, Kiambiu, Mukuru, Karinde and Dagoreti. ANK is also workling  with selected former street women

Women Economic Empowerment Consort (WEEC)

This is a local NGO involved in the empowerment of women in Enterprise development and advocacy. EPS program designed and piloted a livestock up-grading credit scheme for Maasai women. This project was funded by CGAP of the World Bank as one of the innovative approaches to poverty reduction.

EPS program further partnered with WEEC to pilot an Enterprise Based Training Program for unemployed youth. This program placed unemployed youth into enterprises for six months to learn business management skills. Those who graduated successfully accessed stat-up finance to establish small businesses. The project was funded by UNDP.

Kayole Jua Kali Association (KJA)

Kayole Jua Kali (KJA) association is registered under the societies act of the laws of Kenya and presently has a registered membership of 200 micro and small business operators. The members operate business activities in various sectors including textile, woodwork, metalwork, motor vehicle repair, food processing, chemical products processing, electrical and electronics engineering, handicrafts and leather work, as well as merchandising and petty trading.

KJA builds capacity of its membership to engage in dialogue and influence policy, legal and regulatory environment in which its members operate. KJA also provides business development services to its members.
