Training Services

EPS program has been involved in the provision of training services since its establishment. We have experience in providing training services to small enterprise entities as well as to large development organisations involved in health, environmental and enterprise development activities. We have experiences in undertaking the following training services:

     • Training needs analysis

     • Training curriculum development

     • Training materials development

     • Training material review and testing

     • Training delivery

     • Monitoring and evaluation of training programmes

 

We have developed standard training materials in the following areas of SME development:

     • Business start up training

     • Business growth training

     • Business/Strategic planning for SME managers

     • Financial planning for small enterprises

     • HIV/AIDS and Small businesses

 

EPS program also run tailor made training programmes for firm who have specific needs. EPS program normally sends a team of professionals who will work with the client in identifying unique training needs of the client and develop relevant training materials for the client

Training programmes delivered in the last two years:

     • UNDP/WEEC Enterprise Based Training programme - this was an sub-contract from UNDP to deliver business start up training programme for Youth from Kajiado District to start and profitably manage small enterprises

     • CGAP/WEEC Microfinance Training programme for women group in Isinya Division. This training enabled women groups to develop and establish new savings and credit programmes relevant to their enterprises

     • Global Fund for Women/Action Now Kenya - EPS program was contracted to deliver business growth training to members of Action Now Kenya in order to enable them utilise credit provided to grow and expand their businesses

     • COSV/Action Now Kenya - EPS program is currently implementing a training sub-contract in which HIV/AIDS positive clients of ANK are trained on how to start and establish small businesses that are able to sustain themselves and their families as a strategy for sustainable livelihoods during illness. EPS programme is delivering training to a total of 500 clients of ANK.
